When we bought our housed, it had an undercounted trash compactor, which I'm sure was great before we started recycling most trash. Anyway, I bought this unit to replace the compactor. This fit perfectly and works well.

The light comes on when the door is open, or you can manually turn it on and it will stay on for 10 minutes. I only wish it would stay on all the time it looks so cool!
