Posted : adminOn 4/30/2018One of the main reasons people don't upgrade an OS is that it takes a lot of time to familiarize oneself to the same things I did before but now require different mouse or keyboard clicks. Install Sme Server For Centos. I won't embark on a long treatise on why this is unbelievably stupid (changing things for no reason). I need to know if there are any programs that mimic the XP skin for Win7. And if its possible to somehow bring back Classic mode or view in Win7. And if there is any Window Explorer in Win7? (Why in the world would they take that away?) In XP you just right click a folder, click Explore and WHAM!

- you're in Windows Explorer. Effortlessly navigating on the left column while seeing the contents in the right column (if you use View, Details, of course). I think you need 3rd party apps & skins (things like WindowsBlinds for example) to do it for real. But have a read of this together with the 'windows classic' theme, are they close enough for what you want? Or for the menu - NOTE: I have not tried the above, but found them in a quick google search, so I cannot vouch for them. WRT 'explore' can't you right-click and 'open' a folder? Explorer is on the menu system under accessories.
Or have I missed something? If you want all folders showing in the left-pane, just right-click the white area of the left column in explorer and tick 'show all folders'. Hope it helps.
